Von der hinteren Coverseite

After watching the agonies of families battling over custody of children, it would be a true saying that, emotionally, the sword of Solomon is cutting our children apart. Our courts and our legal system magnify the pain.

Now Dr. Sorrick has written a book that attempts to put sanity - even Christian virtues and forgiveness - back into the process. This practical book helps the divorcing couple at each stage of the child custody process to look at better ways to approach what is best for the children involved.

I especially appreciate how hurting parties do not have to end up in bitterness, but can come out of a custody battle with some degree of dignity and adjustment for both parents and emotional health for the children involved. This is a constructive alternative to the typical adversarial divorce. (David Gatewood, Executive Director, Colorado Christian and California Christian Counseling and Training Centers)
