I am a math teacher in Los angeles. For the past years, I have noticed that the students in the United States are different from the students I taught in Asia. The students here have difficulty in comprehending math textbooks.

In order to provide a clear and easy way for my students to learn algebra in my classes, I designed notes which simplify and outline the concepts and skills in the course textbooks. I have distributed the notes to my students. My students have always asked for my notes whenever they have entered my classroom. My students have told me that my notes do help to facilitate their learning process. Some teachers and students from other schools have also contacted me and requested copies of my notes. This is the reason why I have decided to print and publish my notes for use as a reference book to math students and teachers in the public.
