Greg is also a noted nature and underwater photographer who shares his love of the oceans as a NAUI Scuba Instructor. Greg is a frequent and popular lecturer at the University of Southern California's PRIME MBA program. A frequent traveler to Indonesia, he is also the President of the American Indonesian Chamber of Commerce on the West Coast.

Elvin McDonald is the well known author of over 50 books on gardening, including The 400 Best Garden Plants, The Color Garden Series-- Red, White, Blue and Yellow, The New Houseplant: Bringing the Garden Indoors. Elvin is the Garden Editor of Traditional Home magazine. Elvin traveled to Java as the primary consultant for the Emmy award winning television series, Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn. His work, presented in this book, complements the well known epsiode of this PBS series, Tropical Gardens.
