Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Chris Ahrens began surfing in 1960, and has never quit. He learned the craft of writing more in the field than in the classroom, when, as a world traveler, he began to sell his surf stories to various surf publications. Since that time, he has written for every major surfing publication in the world, and serves as the announcer of numerous surfing events. He has been the subject of numerous television, radio and newspaper interviews. Joyrides is the second installment of surf stories and his third book on surfing. It will be followed by another volume of surf stories, Kelea's Gift, in the Spring of 2001.
