Brenda J. Ponichtera is a registered dietitian and best-selling author of two award-winning cookbooks. She is also the recipient of awards from the American Dietetic Association and the Oregon Dietetic Association citing her outstanding contribution as a health professional. Ponichtera has extensive experience in diabetes, heart disease, and weight loss and has specialized in helping people develop healthful, lifelong eating habits.
