The Shadow Parade is a unique children’s bedtime story which encourages the reader to embrace the power of imagination and the magic in everyday life. Once the last animal has disappeared, it is revealed that the child has been using a flashlight to make hand shadow animals dance across the ceiling and walls. The last spread of the book provides illustrations of how to make each of the shadow animals featured.
