Paperback. Zustand: Very Good. Good condition; some shelf wear; book appears to be unread. Why Royal Jews? Because for almost a thousand years Jews have been living in the Royal County, starting as individual traders, later becoming war-time evacuees and now the thriving community that exists today. This is the story of kings and kashrut, bishops and baigels, Magna Carta and Maidenhead Synagogue - a curios inter-faith mix that ranges from medieval confrontation to modern dialogue. A surprising number of famous names litter the pages, as well as hundreds of others who quietly made their mark. This is their story and the record of a Jewish life that, until now, has not been told. Copyright © Grenfell Publishing. Artikel-Nr. 464731
