A pictorial and commentary guide to the work of Eric Ravilious within the collection of the Fry Art Gallery, Saffron Walden, with an essay by Frances Spalding and reminiscences by Christopher Sandford and Tirzah Ravilious. The voluntarily-managed Fry Art Gallery is exclusively devoted to work done by artists living in and around Great Bardfield in Essex between 1930-1970, and includes an extensive collection of work by Ravilious and his friend Edward Bawden.
