Raised with the myths and sagas, Gunnar grew up with the stories of gods and goddesses of Asgard, the frost giants of Jontunheim and the Viking traders, raiders and settlers. He grew up with the sense of freedom learned while tracking elk in the northern forests. In the UK he gained his passion for exploring. Old train stations, abandoned hospitals, and crumbling films sets were fertile hunting grounds for his imagination. In another life Gunnar has been a games designer, serial entrepreneur, an activist, a science communicator and a whole lot of trouble.
