A poetic sanity; a blend of 303 bullets and tequila. This collection from poet and novelist Peter Standish Evans references his poems from the 1990s in southern England, through travels and times in eastern and southern Africa, to the current decade of the 2020’s.An early proponent of the British “neo-metallic” school of poetry, these works reflect on the psychotic and physical burdens of the pixel age. Subjects range from the base-terror of life on the edge in Somalia, to daily cosmic uncertainty. From the interconnectivity of the death-run of pilots struggling through war, to modern cars speeding through chicanes, all hell bent on psychological destruction.Life is sucked in, the musings of existence laid bare...“never mould the body to the spirit or run when the night owl flies”FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE NOVEL; OMINOUS: BORDERS: COFFEE
