I met Eddie Clarke many years ago when he was in the tourism business and was amazed at his talent for story telling. It was a lucky day when I received Eddie's first book, Grandad's Tales, which has given many hours of enjoyment to my younger family members. Having now read his second book, which is as enchanting as the first, I can't wait to see the delight on their faces when they read this one also. A second delightfully illustrated book containing two rhymes and five stories. 'The Prince and the Giant' tells the story of a Prince who helps Angus the Giant leave the island of Berneray on the back of a whale. 'Nick Whistler' is the boy whose whistling saved his town from fire. 'Holiday on the Rock' tells the story of Tommy who, with the help of an ape, discovers diamonds inside the Rock of Gibraltar.
