Simon Hurst is a leading figure in the development and use of accounting and finance spreadsheets. He is an accomplished lecturer and teacher of spreadsheet techniques, and an acknowledged expert and popular leader of many ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) lectures throughout the year to accountants in practice and industry. He also lectures and trains directly for many firms of accountants and financial institutions of all sizes. He is also a regular contributor on spreadsheet topics to the ICAEW's technology forum, "IT Counts" and is the author of numerous articles in the accounting and technical press about spreadsheets. He also provides spreadsheet training and consultancy services to many accounting software houses.
