There were previous pencil corrections throughout the book and I have made a list of them and photographed some of them for you. There are 51 that have been previously noted. - So whether this book was a proof copy or the recipient: John took it upon himself to proof read the book, I do not know, but it's certainly worth mentioning this to a potential new owner. True author is Richard Hosmer Adams Blum: Born: 7 October 1927 (age 97 years), Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. Known for his imaginative and versatile writing style, drawing comparisons to Graham Greene, Umberto Eco, Melville, and Hawthorne. His fiction spans genres including suspense, medical science fiction, and historical novels. The Medical School described as a unique blend of science fiction and medical horror, likened to the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Blum's fiction is celebrated for its depth, wit, and ability to transport readers to different eras and realms. His storytelling reflects his broad academic and professional background, enriching his narratives with diverse themes and perspectives. Colour has faded on the top front panel; otherwise it remains vibrant and is price intact to the front inner prelim although it has been covered with a small white label.
