Christy Leskovar was born in Butte, Montana, and raised in Kennewick, Washington. She graduated from Seattle University with degrees in mechanical engineering and French. After stints in Maryland, Kansas, Barcelona, San Francisco, and Las Vegas, she set off on an adventure to find what turned out to be an amazing and inspiring true story, enough to fill two books.
