Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Battman, who, on occasion, is addressed by his given name, Alan Batt, is a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn. He’s renowned for capturing the best of the city: photographs which have been published on greeting cards and in books celebrating the Big Apple for over 25 years and have undoubtedly made him one of the most recognized photographers in NYC.Battman, created and has photographed the world famous New York City Firefighters Calendar since 1996. His extensive client list includes NYC & Company, the US Virgin Islands, Crain’s New York, The Times Square Alliance and Lincoln Center. His work has been published in magazines worldwide. With the publication of his new books Soup and The Colors of Dessert, he now has six editions of his successful food photography book series, the others being The Great Bagel & Lox Book, New York Sweets, Summer in New York and Sandwiches of the World.
