Under a Mantle of Stars: Revised Edition - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Not long before his untimely death, Manuel Puig revised Under a Mantle of Stars, which is his first play written directly for the stage. Now available in this new edition with all of Puig's changes and a translator's note, Under a Mantle of Stars proclaims Puig the master of a Pirandellian world all his own, a world of fright and the frightfully funny, one where the characters slip among fantasies that blend elegiac desire with fierce lust. At once tender, cruel, and hilarious, Under a Mantle of Stars distills essential Puig.
