David MacLean has been an antiquarian bookseller since 1968 in Decatur, Indiana, 15 miles north of the Limberlost country near Geneva that Mrs. Porter immortalized in her nature tales, 30 miles east of her childhood homes at LaGro and Wabash, and 40 miles south of her later home at Rome City, Indiana - this is Gene Stratton-Porter country! Mr. MacLean's researches led to the publication of the first bibliography of Mrs. Porter's works in 1976. A smaller revised guide was published in 1987 and this second revised edition includes additional information and more recent prices.
