From Chapter 1. Colors can do something for you or they can do something to you. The difference will be in whether they are your colors or not.
Joe is an executive - portly, with thinning gray hair. He looks like what he is - efficient, driving, sophisticated, a little chauvinistic. Although Joe, single for many years, had an eye for younger women he didn't seem to have much success with them. When he came to Color Charisma he was wearing the typical dress for success uniform - dark suit, white shirt, conservative tie.
Joe's color analysis revealed that he should be wearing the Romantic (light-cool) colors - quite a change for this high-powered executive. Being open-minded and a risk-taking person, Joe agreed to give his correct colors a try. Soon Joe was dating and within a year had married a beautiful young lady who had previously ignored him.
Sold on Color Charisma, Joe claims it worked miracles. He later confessed...
From Chapter 8. Your knowledge of color effect can help you to understand your own reactions to various surroundings. Armed with this information, you can withstand pressures (like eating too much, too fast) and can use color in your own sphere of influence to control your reactions and those of others.
Scientists know that color affects us physically because of its radiant energy. Much like a microwave oven, color causes cells to activate. ... Scientists also know that our mid-brain, which is the more primitive portion, receives signals from our eyes and sends them on to the pituitary glands. From there the messages go out to our other glands and our bodies react to the messages.
From Chapter 9. The artist who designs an ad for alcoholic beverages knows to use plenty of red, white, and black in his ad because our viewing this stimulates a drop in blood sugar, making us thirsty for a drink. Drinking establishments are often decorated in reds and blacks for this same reason.
Of course, a little knowledge misapplied can be a dangerous thing...
