A Day in the World - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Originally published in 1976 as a limited edition, fine press book by book artisan Harry Duncan for Abattoir Editions, A Day in the World remained virtually invisible. Duncan printed fewer than 190 copies (many of these erroneously bound and subsequently destroyed); the remaining copies were largely bought up by collectors, and few readers were able to add this Kuzma collection to their library of contemporary American poetry. This reprint makes A Day in the World available to a large and broader readership for the first time in more than 30 years. WHAT CRITICS HAVE SAID ABOUT KUZMA'S POETRY: "Kuzma writes poems which are warm, tender, full of good humor, often sensitive, highly crafted with a sheen akin to that of minimal art."  John R. Carpenter, Poetry "Kuzma wants to engage us. He wants to witness and to bear witness to. He wants to recreate, rediscover, and rewrite . . . . Kuzma's poetry is fresh, sexual, and confident."  Arthur Oberg, Shenandoah
