Teasdale-Buckell was editor of "Land and Water" for the last fifteen years of the nineteenth century. After much discussion of style, stance, guns and patterns, he devotes a chapter each to all of the famous gunmakers of the period. An important and fascinating book from the early days of breech-loaders and smokeless powder.
