First edition. Hardback. 184pp. No jacket. Morris Cox started the Gogmagog Press in 1957, when he was in his mid-fifties, intending to publish for himself the poetry he could not get published elsewhere. To his poetry he would add original prints, making books with huge skill, creativity and artistic genius. The editions have been so limited that his work has only been at all well known to a small number of collectors. This book is a tribute to the brilliance of Morris Cox and his work at the Gogmagog Press - as author, artist, and printer, creator of some of the most original hand-printed books in the latter part of the twentieth century. Book in near fine condition. A couple of very small marks to boards. Internally very clean and unmarked. Book. Artikel-Nr. 1308680
