In producing Concise Bible Characters, we at AMG Publishers have made some minor changes to the original work to help make its content more clear to modern readers: We have updated some archaic terms, and we have updated spelling in accordance with how our language has changed over the years; in some cases, unusual forms of punctuation have been simplified to eliminate confusion. Apart from these minor modifications, however, we have remained true to Whyte's original work in every way. Additionally, readers should note that the points of current history mentioned by Whyte are from the nineteenth century.
