Inhaltsangabe

Grace is a marvelous subject that can never be exhausted in one study. Although grace has the distinction of being in the title of many of the church names as well as the subject of many songs and hymns that are sung today, very few understand what it is all about and how to apply it to everyday life. All of God’s goodness is found in grace.
Many well-meaning believers have wandered away from “grace” and have strayed back under legalism. They have fallen into a performance mentality, and, as a result, they are burned out, bitter discouraged, critical, and wondering if they were ever even saved to begin with.
Church life for many of these believers has become their only way to measure their spirituality and not intimacy with Christ as found in their daily walk. Many times these people have been deceived and are the ones who stand at the doors of the church and greet you outwardly with a gracious smile and an outstretched arm, while inwardly they are overcome with frustration and defeat.
God’s Word tells us that there is more to Christian life than living each day in fear and shame. We can have victory by learning what the Bible tells us is real living.

Book is part of the Following God Discipleship series.
