9780898625561: Emotion, Psychotherapy And Change

Inhaltsangabe

A continuation of the editors' previously co-authored Emotion in psychotherapy (Guilford, 1987), this volume contributes to the development of a trans-theoretical approach to affective change events. Viewing emotional experience as an active ingredient in, rather than a by-product of, the change process, it explores the ramifications of this understanding for the conduct of therapy.
