Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

DOUGLAS W. BRAY, PH.D.
Since 1944, Douglas W. Bray has been involved in human resources research and practice. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Development Dimensions International, which he co-founded in 1970. Until his retirement as Director of Human Resources Research, he spent 28 years with AT&T, where he planned and directed landmark studies of managerial careers, designed and applied the first business assessment centers, and played key roles in the validation of employment methods and the development of supervisory training.
Dr. Bray is past president of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the first winner, in 1977, of its Professional Practice Award. Among his other awards are those from the American Psychological Association and the American Board of Professional Psychology. He and Dr. Ann Howard coauthored «MDUL»MANAGERIAL LIVES IN TRANSITION: Advancing Age and Changing Times«MDNM» (Guilford Press),which was chosen by the Academy of Management as the best management book of 1988\n-\1989.
