Gregory Alan Williams, an Emmy Award-winning actor and writer, grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and now lives in Los Angeles. He is best known for his role as Garner Ellerbee in the television series Baywatch. He has also appeared in In the Line of Fire, Remember the Titans, and the television show Necessary Roughness. He is one of the founding members of Penumbra - St. Paul Minnesota's first professional African-American theatre- and has appeared with the Chicago Shakespeare Company.Mr. Williams was honored by the city of Los Angeles for his actions during the riots and testified in the trial of two men in the beating of Reginald Denny.
