Inhaltsangabe

Weren't the Middle Ages dark for science? Didn't the pope say Darwin was right? Author Benjamin Wiker (The Darwin Myth, A Meaningful World) takes on the most common modern errors from the Big Bang to Galileo, from the origins of life on Earth to the existence of life on other planets, that modern thinkers have foisted into popular culture. The Catholic Church and Science clears away the fog of falsehood that preaches faith and science must be mortal enemies. It proves the doctrines of the Faith and the facts of science are not contradictory, but in fact, harmonize together. The Faith, in union with true science, illustrates a universe whose uncanny order and precision point to the purpose-built design of an intelligent creator. An excellent book separating fact from fancy about the relationship between Christianity especially Catholicism and the empirical sciences.
