The activities stress the importance of culture in students' lives, and teaches them basic personal and community-related skills so they may become more self-reliant and culturally responsible. The Native Education Services Associates are a group of teaching professionals with extensive experience in Native and multicultural education. Their materials provide educators with meaningful and appropriate culturally-based learning resources and are also designed to enhance understanding between ethnic and cultural groups.
