Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Norbert Schalast, PhD, is a psychologist and licensed psychotherapist working as a project manager at the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry, University of Duisburg / Essen in Germany. A decade of therapeutic work at the department of forensic psychiatry of the Viersen State Mental Hospital (LVR-Klinik Viersen) kindled his interest in the issue of institutional social climate.Matthew Tonkin, PhD, is a lecturer in forensic psychology at Birmingham City University, UK. He has a wide range of research interests, including various areas of investigative psychology and the assessment of social climate in secure settings.During his career he has been involved in developing and validating questionnaire measures of social climate and in the monitoring of climate in secure settings.
