Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Ardith Davis Cole has more than twenty years' experience working with children aged from five to eleven as both a classroom and a reading teacher. She also teaches at the college level, and is a popular presenter at workshops and professional conferences. She lives and teaches in Port Townsend, Washington.

ARDITH DAVIS COLE has 30 years of public school experience in a range of capacities, from classroom teacher to literacy specialist. She has also worked with teachers as a literacy consultant, a university adjunct, and an officer in professional literacy organizations. A recipient of numerous professional awards, including the University of Buffalos Outstanding Alumni Award for the Year 2000, she is the author of Better Answers: Written Performance That Looks Good and Sounds Smart and Literacy Activities for Building Classroom Communities.
