Dr Thomas J. Dishion, Ph.D., is founder and director of research at the Child and Family Center, and professor of clinical psychology at the University of Oregon, USA. His research focuses on the effectiveness of family-centered interventions. Dr. Dishion has published numerous scientific reports and several books on working with troubled children and their families.Scot G. Patterson has collaborated on a variety of academic and scholarly publications dealing with parenting issues, delinquency, and the treatment of depression. With Dr. Gerald Patterson and Dr. Marion Forgatch, Scot was instrumental in creating the best-selling books Parents and Adolescents Living Together (Parts 1 and 2).
