John J. Schmidt, Ed.D, has been a teacher, counselor, director of counseling services, state coordinator of school counseling programs, and university instructor of counselor education for the past 20 years. Dr. Schmidt is currently an Associate Professor of Counselor Education and Chair of the Counselor and Adult Education Department at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
