M. PHYLLIS LOSE, V.M.D. has been practicing veterinary medicine for nearly forty years. She is the author of Blessed Are the Brood Mares, Second Edition, also published by Howell Book House. Dr. Lose lives in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
