Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Betty van der Smissen is a professor and chairperson at the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. She has served with the National Recreation and Park Association, the American Camping Association, and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. She is the author of Legal Liability and Risk Management for Public and Private Entities, Management of Park and Recreation Agencies, and Recreation in Michigan. She lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Oswald H. Goering has served as a faculty chair and a professor of outdoor teacher education at Northern Illinois University, as well as the dean of men, associate professor of recreation, and director of the Kauffman Museum and the Peace Lecture Series at Bethel College. He lives in Moundridge, Kansas. Judy K. Brookhiser is the assistant dean of the College of Sciences & Human Services at Murray State University. She lives in Murray, Kentucky.
