Frank X. Gaspar is Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at Long Beach City College and also teaches in the Antioch University MFA program. He is author of three books of poetry: The Holyoke (1988), Mass for the Grace of a Happy Death (1994), and, most recently, A Field Guide to the Heavens, winner of the 1998 Brittingham Prize.
