Gunplay is a script written for a multi-racial cast of at least 2 women, 2 men. The cast can be made larger if that fits the needs of a production. The play can accommodate any and all races in all of the roles.

The play does not make either a pro-gun or anti-gun statement. Whatever specifics are used should be open to more than one interpretation. The play can be performed on a bare stage.

Play consists of a series of skits, dealing with various issues related to gun use, violence, and control in the United States. Written in 2001, the play has obvious reference to mass-shooting incidents, such as Columbine, but references the everyday use and perception of gun use as well.
