When You Are a Confirmation Sponsor (Handing on the Faith Series) - Softcover

In When You Are a Confirmation Sponsor Julie Lytle reflects on the responsibility and significance of being chosen to share your faith and personal experience with someone less familiar with the path than you. She examines briefly the Sacrament of Confirmation and its ritual celebration, identifies the ways a person comes to the Sacrament, summarizes the hallmarks of child and adolescent development, and offers suggestions for regular, consistent relationships and connections with young people. Each chapter provides questions for reflection or discussion, stories from sponsors or confirmandi, and passages from the liturgy of the sacrament, Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church for prayerful meditation.
