JANIS FORMAN received a Ph.D. in comparative literature from Rutgers University. She also studied rhetoric and composition at Queens College (CUNY) and at a yearlong NEH seminar at the University of Southern California. In 1982, she established the Management Communication Program for the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. At Anderson, she has taught courses on the essay and on leadership and literature. She is editor of New Visions of Collaborative Writing (Boynton/Cook, 1992) and What Do I Know? (Boynton/Cook, 1995).
