Each workbook covers key topics in AS or A2 French and is divided into sections. Section 1 consists of French texts accompanied by short vocabulary lists, questions in English on understanding the text, vocabulary work and writing tasks: Section 2 (sections 2-4 in the A2 workbooks) contains questions for oral practise based on the texts in Section 1 and synoptic tests, comprising two longer texts with reading and writing tasks of the kind found in the exam( the A2 workbooks include two further speaking tests based on written texts, one in English and one in French). The demands on students' language skills and understanding increase with each workbook in the series. Vocabulary lists become more selective, the comprehension exercises more searchng and the writing tasks longer and more structured. The workbooks are designed for systematic classroom use to support your own scheme of work, but can be easily used for homework and as a revision source. Space is provided throughout the workbooks for students to write their answers to each exercise. Answers to the vocabulary and comprehension exercises in each workbook are provided in an accompanying set of Teachers Notes. The notes also offer further suggestions for using the texts.Student workbooks are available only in class sets of 10, priced at £35 per set. Each set of workbooks includes one Free copy of the Teachers Notes.
