Robin Mason has evaluated a wide range of telecommunications technologies used in a European educational context. While computer conferencing is still the most appropriate medium for home-based students, she sees videoconferencing, audiographics and desktop conferencing as playing an increasingly larger role in other forms of remote teaching and training.



Paul Bacsich has spent many years implementing communications based systems for teaching - audio conferencing, audiographics, electronic mail and resource-based systems - using a wide range of technologies including satellite communications and ISDN.
