The Sense of His Presence: Experiencing Spiritual Regenesis - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

What would your church be like
if Christ walked through the door?

What happens when God's people really believe He is present among them? Eight things, according to David R. Mains:

• They really worship
• They love one another
• They strive for holiness
• They want to serve the Lord
• They become hungry for the Word
• They pray boldly
• They reach out in spontaneous evangelism
• They enjoy a general sense of well-being

When these factors are present, we can be sure the church is functioning as Christ intended. And we can be certain that a time of regenesis — rebirth or revival — is on its way.

This is a profoundly simple account of how Christians can prepare for revival — and how we can recognize it when it happens. It is also a vivid and compelling picture of the Christian life at its very best, the life lived in full awareness that Christ is here — and will be here again!
