This volume contains 14 chapters that explore partnerships between college and research librarians and professors in English, writing, and other subjects for teaching research and writing to students in the digital age. They discuss developing a shared understanding, through dialogue with each other, interpreting the concept of research, fostering the voices of students, and providing scaffolded assignments; examples of specific partnerships in library-writing studies, disciplinary literacy in first-year composition, working with at-risk students in a summer bridge program school, working with undergraduate majors in writing, research-writing across the curriculum, technical writing for health science majors, and a senior-level English research methods course; and assessing writing and information literacy. Chapters draw on the Framework for Success in Postsecondary Writing, from the Council of Writing Program Administrators, National Council of Teachers of English, and National Writing Project, and the Association of College and Research Libraries' Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education.
