1 Timothy: A Strong Man Is Courageous: a 30-day Devotional (Strong Man Devotionals)

Inhaltsangabe

Based on the New Testament book of 1 Timothy, these 30 daily devotions include Scripture, prayers, and actionable ideas for men who want to grow in spiritual leadership and become truly courageous men of God.

This in-depth 30-day devotional and Bible study helps men grow more courageous in their role as spiritual leaders in their families, workplaces, and churches as they listen to the apostle Paul mentor his protégé Timothy. Timothy was known for being timid, but Paul—one of the greatest church leaders of the first century— spoke the truth into this young man, giving him courage to be a leader.

In 1 Timothy: A Strong Man Is Courageous, Vince Miller explains how Timothy lived in the metropolis of Ephesus, where Paul had planted a church years before. This church had fallen into doctrinal and organizational disrepair, and now Paul wanted Timothy to get the church back on track.

Every devotion in 1 Timothy includes a reflection from Vince drawn from Paul’s words, insights from other biblical books, and ideas for applying Paul’s advice to your own situation. As Vince will show you, God uses mentoring relationships for His glory on our journey to becoming spiritual leaders and learners.
