Mary F. Foskett is associate professor of religion at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is the author of A Virgin Conceived: Mary and Classical Representations of Virginity (2002) and a contributor to The Bible in Asian America (2002).Jeffrey Kah-Jin Kuan is associate professor of Old Testament at Pacific School of Religion and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. Originally from Malaysia, he is an associate editor of The New Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible and the author of Neo-Assyrian Historical Inscriptions and Syria-Palestine (1995).
