D.T. Potts has been Professor of Middle Eastern Archaeology at the University of Sydney, Australia since 1991. His previous books include The Pre-Islamic Coinage of Eastern Arabia, Further Excavations at Tell Abraq and The Arabian Gulf in Antiquity.
