Laura Olson received her Ph.D from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently a professor of political science at Clemson University. She is the author and editor of several books, including Religion and Politics in America, 2E (Westview Press, 1999) and Filled with Spirit and Power: Protestant Clergy in Politics (SUNY Press, 2000).
