Robert Eaglestone is Professor of Contemporary Literature and Thought at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is the author of the best-selling textbook Doing English (4th edn, Routledge, 2017) , The Broken Voice (2017), and in 2014 was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship.
