Poonam Arora is a graduate student at the Kellogg School of Business Administration at Northwestern Universtiy and a consultant to IFAD.

Mohiuddin Alamgir is Director of the Policy and Planning Division of IFAD in Romeand the author of Famine in South Asia: Political Economy of Mass Starvation and Bangaldesh.
