As senior vice-president of scientific affairs of the American Heart Association, Rodman D. Starke, M.D., directs all science activities of the American Heart Association. A graduate of the Harvard Medical School, he was for twenty-six years chief of cardiology at Davies Medical Center. Mary Winston, Ed.D., R.D., is senior science consultant of the American Heart Association at their national headquarters in Dallas.
