Betty and Rita: La Dolce Vita - Hardcover

Following in the paw prints of the successful Betty and Rita Go to Paris comes Betty and Rita: La Dolce Vita--a Roman holiday with those two endearing labs who love to roam. Forty duotone photographs capture their experience with wit and whimsy, each accompanied by humorous and engaging rhymed verse written in time with Dante's Inferno. Although savvy travelers, Rita and Betty inadvertently separate while enjoying the sweet life, taking individual escapades through the picturesque Italian streets. From il Gianicolo to il Pantheon to the Piazza Navona, Betty and Rita search high and low for each other, stopping occasionally for sustenance (really, what would a trip to Italy be without a slice of pizza and a scoop of gelato?). Exploring the city both together and solo, these adventuresome pups capture all the excitement and romance of Rome on their second European vacation.
